Mellissa has joined Mazars after many years as an Employment Relations and Human Resources practitioner with experience in both the private and public sector.
Mellissa has held senior employee relations specialist roles developing an expertise across several industries and sectors, including aged care, disability services, crisis support, young people support, retail, insurance, transportation, mining, information technology and local government.
Mellissa brings to her consulting role experience across a wide range of strategic and operational employment relations functions including developing and implementing employee relations plans to achieve strategic business initiatives, enterprise bargaining, harmonising merged workforces, managing due diligence reviews for private acquisitions, large-scale transfers of employment arrangements and restructuring including the implementation of redundancy programs arising from organisational change and end of contract arrangements when large scale government contracts cease.
Mellissa has an enviable reputation for her ability to resolve workplace disputes both within the formal confines of the Fair Work Commission and at the workplace. Mellissa takes a risk management approach to providing advice, ensuring that clients, both internal and external can make informed, balanced and practical decisions.
